Senior Night…
Senior Night: A Mother’s Pride and a Son’s Purpose 💙🧡
Whew… Senior Night. Just saying it out loud hits different. It’s one of those moments you dream about when your baby first puts on a uniform that’s too big for him, holding a football like it’s the world. And now, here we are. My son a senior. A leader. A young man who’s walked through storms with his head high and his heart steady.
I’m so proud of you, son. You’ve carried yourself with so much strength and grace through everything life has thrown your way. Nothing about your journey was easy, and nothing was ever handed to you but you still found a way. You stayed positive, led your team with heart, and made your mark both on and off the field.
People see the wins, the touchdowns, the moments under the lights but what they don’t see are the quiet battles behind the scenes. The times you had to dig deep when things felt unfair. The moments you could’ve given up but didn’t. The lessons you learned about character, discipline, and faith. I’ve watched you face every challenge with courage, turn obstacles into opportunities, and grow into the kind of man I always knew you’d be.
You were chosen for this. You were destined for this. Your path might’ve been filled with detours, but it’s always been guided by purpose. You turned every setback into strength, and every doubt into determination.
As me and your dad walk you across that field on Senior Night it wasn’t just emotional it was confirmation. Confirmation that even when the odds weren’t in your favor, God’s plan was. You’ve shown me and everyone around you what perseverance truly looks like.
So keep walking your path, son. Keep showing up with that same fire and faith that got you here. Your story is still being written and greatness has your name on it.
No matter what happens next, know this: no one, no matter their position or power, can take away what’s already meant for you. You were built for this moment, and for everything that’s coming after it.
I love you, and I’ll always be your biggest fan. 💙🧡
